Dear Wen XXXIX

Dear Wen…

Well it certainly suggests another sojourn to see what else we can see…

The Morphology of the Dragon or, the Shifting of the Wurm…

The ‘Lay of the Land,‘ also has possibilities as a title, perhaps… was Goliath a Philistine or am I getting my stories confused… If they were a Sea People they would be using the stars to navigate…

Quite possibly…but then, how many songs does the Stone know?

It strikes me that for a people to move from land to sea is not unlike an animal moving from land to sky…

Well, what they’re calling the ‘stoops’ or whatever must have been already there for them to be able to refer to them but it does feel like they’re popping up left right and centre overnight.

One of the first to appear, actually, was up at Curbar Edge although at the time we didn’t realise it, do you remember?

We could start ‘Sundae at Dead-Shaw Sick’ almost from the start you know and have that one run the length of the Albion Triad.

Well it is certainly both wild and woolly from a scientific perspective and is not by any measure provable… or even testable.

Doll Tor sounds a bit like and hence to my mind is reminiscent of Dol-Gul-Dur so we’ll have to hope it doesn’t contain a shadowy necromancer adept at growing wayside stones…as a prelude to world domination.

Ha Ha Ha …Has the Daft Dog discovered a conscience I wonder…

And I wonder if that is why the cricket was chosen in the first place, because it is always one or two steps ahead of the game…

I somehow doubt it…002

But I know that offended expression well… it haunts all my nightmares…

Love,

Don x
